Family Fashion – Order Cancellation Policy
At Family Fashion, we prioritize customer satisfaction and strive to ensure a seamless shopping experience. However, we understand that sometimes customers may need to cancel their orders. To maintain transparency and efficiency, we have outlined our cancellation policy in detail below. Please review this policy carefully before placing or canceling an order.
1. Eligibility for Order Cancellation
1.1 Cancellation Before Shipment
Customers may request a cancellation within 24 hours of placing an order or before the order is shipped, whichever occurs first. Cancellations beyond this timeframe will not be accepted unless due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., unforeseen stock issues or address errors).
1.2 Cancellation After Shipment
Once an order has been processed and shipped, cancellation is not possible. If the customer no longer wants the order, they may refuse to accept the delivery. However, cancellation fees will apply, as detailed in Section 4.
1.3 Automatic Order Cancellation by Family Fashion
Family Fashion reserves the right to cancel orders under the following conditions:
- Payment failure or incomplete transaction.
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping details provided.
- Unavailability of the product due to stock limitations.
- Multiple instances of COD order refusals from the same customer.
- Suspicious or fraudulent orders detected by our security team.
Customers will be notified in case of automatic cancellations, and refunds (if applicable) will be processed accordingly.
2. Cancellation Process
To cancel an order, customers must follow these steps:
- Email a cancellation request to: help@familyfashions.in.
- Provide the following details in the email:
- Order Number
- Full Name
- Contact Information
- Reason for Cancellation
- If the order is eligible for cancellation (within the allowed time frame and before shipment), our support team will confirm the cancellation via email.
- Refunds will be initiated based on the original payment method as per the refund processing timeline mentioned in Section 5.
3. Cancellation Fees and Charges
To cover administrative and payment processing costs, cancellation fees are applicable as follows:
3.1 Cancellation Before Shipment
- A flat ₹50 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
- If the order was placed using COD, no fee will be charged, but repeated cancellations may result in restrictions on future COD orders.
3.2 Cancellation After Shipment (Refused Delivery)
- Prepaid Orders: If a customer refuses to accept the order upon delivery, a deduction of ₹200 or 2% whichever is higher, will be made as cancellation & shipping charges before refund processing.
- COD Orders: Customers who refuse to accept COD deliveries multiple times will have their COD option disabled for future purchases.
4. Special Cancellation Conditions
4.1 Bulk Orders & Customized Items
- Bulk Orders (5+ items): A 20% cancellation fee applies if canceled after confirmation.
- Customized or Personalized Products: Once customization has begun, cancellations are not allowed.
4.2 Delivery Delays
If an order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery timeframe, customers may request a cancellation. The request will be considered based on the shipment status:
- If the order is still in processing, a full refund will be issued.
- If the order has already shipped, cancellation will not be accepted, but customers may return the order following our return policy.
4.3 Damaged or Incorrect Items
- If a customer receives a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, they should not request cancellation but instead file a return request with an unboxing video as proof.
- The product will be replaced or refunded as per our Return & Replacement Policy.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a cancellation request is approved and will be requested the payment partner for a refund in 1-2 working days, the refund will be processed as follows:

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method. If a refund fails, an alternative resolution will be discussed with the customer.
